Another blanket for Project Linus

Well I completed a second blanket for Project Linus and also a really simple adult hat to add to either the Red Bird or Upper Sand Mountain closet. Now I have started knitting another top for me and then have some varigated yarn to do some more blankets and cotton yarn for another sweater for me. At work I am working on this funky multicolored scarf and then will try to knit some socks. Somewhere in all of this I need to make about 40-45 of the crocheted crosses for Sue Bartlow to take to Costa Rica Jan. Since there are not any Bible Studies start soon that I want to do.
This will help me stay busy. Of course do still have the on-line study and bookclub reading. Picture also contains an adult size olive green hat crocheted with chunky yarn.

New Web Page Up, Another Project Done

We I finally got a web page up and published. Don't know how much traffic I will draw. Am somewhat concerned that I may not have used the best keywords. I also completed a simple belt using sock yarn but need to get a buckle. Am about two-thirds of the way through another baby blanket for Project Linus, and also a scarf made from this really funky yarn I found at The Little Barn in Harvest. Also bought some sock yarn and size 3 double-pointed needles to try to knit a pair of socks. We'll see how it goes.

First Blanket for Project Linus

Well I have finished my first blanket for Project Linus. Not a fantastic job. Always do better with crocheting than knitting but think it is a nice little blanket.

I have also started another one. A crocheted one this time using a very old and traditional pattern. Need to buy some pink yarn and make some multicolored yarn also. Would like to have several baby blankets done by our first meeting of the Asbury Blanketeers on October 14.
