Project Completed for Inventory

Finished this scarf today in the coral.  It is for sale for $20.  It measures 12" wide by 66" long.  It is made of bamboo crochet thread which makes it very light and airy.   I also have light blue and lavender cotton crochet thread with sparkle that I can make into this same scarf.
I have now started on another scarf.  This one is made out of a yarn called bamboo ewe and is aqua.

This week's projects

This week I finished Aiden's camo hoodie that matches the one I did for his younger brother Cameron.  I also made matching socks for both boys.  I also started a new purse that will be felted.  Think I may even have enough yarn to make a matching broad brimmed hat.  I also started one of the scarves that I ordered from Herrschner's.  The first one I am doing is the one crocheted with Aunt Lydia's Bamboo Crochet Thread.  It really feels soft.  Also got in the remaining two orders from Herrschner's that contained some very soft wool yarn that feels and looks almost like Alpaca or Cashmere but isn't.  However, it is extremely soft.  One of my coworkers has already laid claim to the lavendar one for $30.

Moving right along on items for great grandkids

Last week finished Aiden's camo hoodie that matches his younger brothers.  Also finished younger brother, Cameron's pair of camo sock and began work on Aiden's.  By the end of this week will have all of those items completed and mail.  Then I will start on the scarves and shawls that I plan on having juried for sale at 16 Main Street.  After I finish about three scarves and as many shawls will make about three or four purses.  The will do two or three gift baskets which will consist of crocheted baskets, crocheted or knitted washcloths, and homemade soap, bath gel, and lotion.  I will then have to start on the crosses for Costa Rican Kairos trip.  Those are all things that I will work on at home.  Here at work, during groups and down time will begin work on hats, scarves, mittens, etc for the local downtown rescue mission.  All of that should keep me busy until about Christmas, maybe.

Pics of new projects

Detail of the knit cable purse below
I finally have taken some time to post some of my most recent projects.  The purse I designed myself, as I did the one for my great granddaughter Mackennzie.  I have also completed a hat, scarf, socks, and mitten set in toddler size for the local rescue mission and am working on an afghan that I have designed using a knitted dishcloth pattern for the blocks.  At home I am made another hoodie the same as Cameron's only larger for his older brother and then I also plan on making each of them matching socks.  Then I need to complete some projects that I hope will be accepted for sale in a local artists' consignment boutique.  I just have to figure out how I am going to work in the required time in the shop with my schedule.  Will definately post those pictures before I take them down to the shop.
